Wild Clearing is part of a larger vision, an inspired vision of a man dedicated to the flourishing of all people, every single person, each created in the image of God. On a self-walking tour of the area surrounding the Hebrew University at Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, my husband, Reverend Wesley S. Rehberg, observed the panoramic view on both sides of the Mount. On one side was the ancient cemetery of the Muslim faith as well as the surrounding areas that are Jerusalem. And then on the opposite side of the Mount, there was a vast vista of desert-a "wild clearing." One could imagine a Biblical place when Jesus endured forty days and forty nights.
My husband was inspired by this "wild clearing, not for any particular faith, only for humanity as a whole--"We are all in this together forever and ever." The Reverend Wesley S. Rehberg (B. August 8 1936 - D. April 19 2021.
